Steve Allsop (PhD), Professor and Director, National Drug Research Institute, Curtin University, Perth, a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Research in the Prevention of Drug Abuse. He has worked in the drug field for almost 30 years, variously employed in government and academic positions. Steve worked with Toni Makkai and colleagues to develop the Australian National Amphetamine-Type Stimulant Strategy.
Nicole Lee (PhD), Associate Professor, National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA), Flinders University, Adelaide, and adjunct Associate Professor, National Drug Research Institute, Curtin University. Nicole has extensive experience in clinical practice and research in the area of stimulant dependence, and established the Access Point Specialist Treatment Centre at Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre in Melbourne. She has written numerous guidelines for practitioners on the treatment of users of amphetamine-type stimulants. |
