Postnatal
Depression Advance Praise 'I have read the book and am delighted with it. It is clear, practical, thoughtful, respectful and very easy to read. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to families and their friends and for use in our clinics.'
This book provides sound answers to many frequently-asked questions, and does so with warmth and optimism. The voices of sufferers and ex-sufferers bring PND alive and they will touch those women and their families who are affected by it, and help them through the dark and difficult times.
. . .will be of great benefit to women. . .easy to read. . .will be applicable to a wide audience.
If only this book had been available when I needed it just the reassurance that other women had experienced what I was going through, and the practical ways in which to manage it, would have made those first few months with PND so much easier.
. . .an excellent book, easy to read, of great value. . .
The inclusion of the stories from different people makes the book uniquely personal. The book will be relevant for a host of people, and everyone will find something in it that relates to them. A great book, I loved it.
Lisa understands what men go through when their partner has PND, and her practical advice on how men can help themselves to cope is spot on. . .The whole book is just so practical, so helpful. Ive read a fair bit about PND over the last couple of years, trying to make some sense of it, but Ive never seen anything as good as this. This is the book to read. . .How useful it would have been for us three years ago!
