Drug
Use and Drug-related Harm Noni Walker is a public health consultant with a background in project management, teaching, advocacy, and policy development in the fields of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs, health promotion, cancer prevention and nutrition. Her practice settings range from hospital wards to classrooms, OH&S committee meetings, TV studios, and politicians’ offices. Recent projects include co-ordinating a statewide program for leadership development in health promotion, and teaching at Edith Cowan University Alison Salmon was a clinical psychologist who worked in a range on non-government agencies as a clinician and manager. Later in her career she became a Lecturer at Edith Cowan University, where she taught courses in addiction studies, and had research interests in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use amongst older populations. Her promising academic career was sadly cut short by her death in 2002. |
